So it was back to Charleroi for the final group match

The day after we get knocked out we head to the lakes. We are sick of being set upon by Turkish immigrants, Piers and the others have a gun pulled on them. The Police beat up any white English fan and blame us for them not being in control of Brussles. Basically Brussels in run and controlled by the immigrant population. Its the first time I have ever been glad to be knocked out of a tournament and come home early. When I got home Sara got tickets for Glastonbury so went down and chilled out!

Euro 2000 part ii in Belgium ( v Germany)

We move away from a nice friendly Holland to Belgium. From having a great relaxing time and having a real laugh with the locals we move on to Brussles and matches in Charleroi and get treated like criminals from day one! The local immigrant population make sure we dont have a friendly welcome at all.





the Grande Place, nice place during the day, a battle ground in the surrounding streets at night. We decide to spend as much time as possible away from central Brussles




So we head out to Wellington







Mmmm we get on a train from Wellington to Brussels but it goes the wrong way so we get off at errrrrmmmm no idea! We did eventually get back to our hotel!

So we head off to Charleroi for a match against the Old Enemy






We luckily miss all the supposed riots and have a drink in the main square.....





.....boy am I glad we are not in that temporary stand! They have mountain rescue people at the ground in case anyone collapsed and needed treatment - and NO I am not joking!!
