4 games in 5 days (England - Oxford - Barnet - England)

So it all kicks off on Friday 11th November - England v Montenegro.  We need to beat them for the first time ever after 3 consecutive draws against them.

Saturday morning and the weather had changed to glorious sunshine.  So after a nice healthy cooked breakfast I decided to have a wander around Wembley.

Wemberleyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Paddington station and yes its Paddington the bear!

and arrival into Oxford.  The ground is errrm miles away, so its hope onto the bus to cover the 4 miles.

So I finally get to the Kassam Stadium, and lots of people about early for the local derby v Northampton Town how are 91st in the league (missed out in last season play off final)

So that's 2-0 from the penalty spot

So on to game number 3.  Sunday 13th October 2013 and its Barnet v Wrexham in the Skrill Conference.  It was a very very wet and soggy day!

Good support from Wrexham

22 player brawl = 2 red cards and a Wrexham equaliser - all in injury time!  Even then there was time for a Barnet player to be stretchered off and another Wrexham player sent off!

So then it was game 4 - Tuesday 15th October.  England v Poland.  After the comfortable win over Montenegro direct qualification for Brazil was still in our hands.  We just need to beat Poland (and probably about 30,000 Poles in the stadium!).  An electric atmosphere, it was like watching England from a few years ago.  Fight, passion, desire both on and off the pitch.

Yes a 2-0 win, Brazilllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll here we come!

Dave and I celebrate with a couple of after game pints before heading to catch the 12.05 from Victoria
